Dr Litta completed her MBBS (2009) in Government Medical College, Trivandrum and MS Ophthalmology (2014) from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Trivandrum. She pursued her long-term fellowship in Glaucoma(2016-17) from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO UK 2019).

Her clinical expertise includes diagnosis and management of primary and secondary glaucomas, advanced glaucoma evaluation including ONH and RNFL assessment, visual field analysis and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Her surgical and procedural experience includes Glaucoma filtering surgeries, complicated cataract surgeries, LASER procedures for glaucoma, post operative care and management of complications, management of refractory and advanced glaucoma cases.

Dr Litta is actively involved in post graduate training of ophthalmology residents and is the DNB course coordinator from 2020. She mentors post graduate students in glaucoma evaluation and management. She has presented and conducted instruction courses at various national and state level conferences including KSOS and TNOA. She is a regular attendee of academic meetings, CME programs and workshops related to glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology.

Her areas of special interest include advanced and complex glaucoma management, early detection and prevention of glaucoma related blindness. She is enthusiastic about clinical research, academic teaching and improving long term patient compliance and outcomes.
