After much anticipation and with a lot of enthusiasm, the new hospital blessing ceremony was held on the evening of December 22 2025. His Grace Most Rev Dr Joseph Kalathiparambil, Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly graciously consented to bless the new premises.
The intimate gathering was attended by the family of Dr Tony and staff of Dr Tony Fernandez Eye hospital. The welcome address was delivered by the Managing Director, Dr Freddy T Simon. Our beloved Founder Padmashri Dr S Tony Fernandez also addressed the gathering.
The Bible readings and prayers of the faithful were recited by Mrs Sabeena David, Dr Sylvia Mathew and Mrs Sonia Puthoor. In addition, the new hospital logo was unveiled and its significance explained.
The elegant ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Sylvia Mathew followed by high tea.
